It went super! We, me and the 4 kids, started modestly with one case of water. We went to the open air walking mall in downtown aspen. <br /> <br />The two younger kids are a bit too young for it, but the older ones immediately got into it, especially my 10 year old. <br /> <br />The very first lady he gave a bottle to asked why he was giving away water. My 10 year old, pre-trained, immediately stated that this was our family's way of showing God's love for her. <br /> <br />She was totally awestruck. The look on her face tells the story. She hugged him repeatedly then walked away and told a younger lady (perhaps her <br />daughter) what just happened. <br /> <br />Earlier, a nice christian lady that we know came up to me in a rush and said that she was helping out an older lady that seemed to be suffering from the heat. She asked for ice- I gave her that and a bottle. Shannon never asked what I was up to with a cooler full of ice and water she just ran off to minister to that lady.
